Description

What is Salamol Easi-Breathe?

Salamol Easi-Breathe contains salbutamol, a fast-acting bronchodilator. It relaxes the muscles around the airways, allowing them to widen so air can move in and out more easily. Unlike standard inhalers, the breath-activated design automatically releases a dose as you breathe in — removing the need to coordinate pressing and inhaling simultaneously.

How it Works

Once inhaled, the medication quickly reaches the lungs where it helps relax tightened airway muscles. This leads to rapid relief from wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. Effects typically last for several hours.

How to Use it

  • Shake the inhaler well before each use
  • Sit or stand upright
  • Remove the cap and hold the device upright
  • Breathe out fully, then place the mouthpiece between your lips
  • Take a steady, deep breath in — the inhaler will automatically release a dose
  • Remove the inhaler and hold breath for around 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly

Recommended Dosage

  • Adults and children over 12: Usually 1–2 puffs when needed, up to 4 times daily. Maximum 8 puffs in 24 hours.
  • Children aged 4–12: Typically 1 puff initially, increasing to 2 if required. Maximum 4 puffs in 24 hours.
